On the afternoon of Halloween, my children and I were biking home from a costume block party on “Scareway Drive” (known as Fairway Drive on the other 364 days a year) and got drenched in a sudden downpour. By the time we were gliding by Albemarle Field and Gath Pool, the rain had stopped and a double rainbow was lighting our way home. Trick or treat, indeed!
