Joyful Summer Days at the Pool!
The pool is busy. From adult swim to beginner lessons to swim meets to long afternoons on the chaise lounges talking to friends, the new pool offers a chance to connect, cool down, work out, and take in the sky. We couldn’t be happier to see it happening.

Quite a view
Construction has been going at an intense pace since the end of September, and one month in, Gath Pool is gone. Rubble, metal, concrete and dearly departed diving boards are being cleared out to make space for two new pools and a splash pad.
FIREWORKS!!
It was a warm, clear-ish July 4th evening after an afternoon of heavy rain, and thousands gathered to watch a spectacular fireworks show at Albemarle!

Today, Newton Parks, Recreation and Culture painted the track lines on Albemarle field. About an hour later, Day Middle School track club came out for their first practice of the season. Go Dragons!
