Work is underway to mitigate the effects of climate change by accommodating flooding under the field at Albemarle. It’s a fascinating feat of engineering that models the way for how we can adapt…and it’s pretty cool to watch the progress.

Joyful Summer Days at the Pool!
The pool is busy. From adult swim to beginner lessons to swim meets to long afternoons on the chaise lounges talking to friends, the new pool offers a chance to connect, cool down, work out, and take in the sky. We couldn’t be happier to see it happening.

Quite a view
Construction has been going at an intense pace since the end of September, and one month in, Gath Pool is gone. Rubble, metal, concrete and dearly departed diving boards are being cleared out to make space for two new pools and a splash pad.
